Tom de Nooij
Tom de Nooij is co-founder of Riskonet. With a background in mechanical engineering and fire safety engineering, he founded the company based on a clear conviction: “What I often saw was that business owners became passengers in their own company. They blindly followed the requirements of government or insurers, without understanding why. Our mission is to put that control back in their hands.” Tom is a certified NFPA instructor and serves on the NFPA 30 technical committee for flammable and combustible liquids, as well as the NFPA 20 technical committee for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection.
Based in the Netherlands, Tom works with clients both domestically and internationally. He helps organizations understand their fire protection risks, tailor systems to actual business operations and transfer risks to insurers in ways that are both safe and practical.
