This interactive seminar about storage protection will inform you of the requirements found in the latest NFPA 13 and 30 standards.

Get fully up to date on the most recent storage protection this coming spring at a seminar organised in association with the NFPA. This seminar will take place from 18-22 March 2019 in Krakow, Poland. The installation of Sprinkler Systems (storage class) will be the topic for the first three days, and participants will learn about the latest requirements for the storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids during the last two days.

At the end of the seminar you will be able to:

  • Explain the difference between flammable and combustible liquids
  • Know about the latest NFPA 13 and 30 standards
  • Understand the basic properties of all liquids, including specific gravity, vapor density, evaporation rate, viscosity, water solubility and surface tension
  • List the properties of flammable liquids, including flash point, fire point, boiling point, flammable or explosive range, vapor pressure, auto-ignition temperature, flame propagation and burning characteristics (heat release, burning rates, smoke production, boil over, slipover, froth over).

Who should attend?

All fire engineers, inspection authorities, certification bodies, plan reviewers, designers, installers, inspectors, insurers, risk consultants, and risk managers. This is a (hot) opportunity to take advantage of the best professional training on the most significant aspects of fire protection sprinklers.
